How we're keeping you safe during COVID-19

At Tustin Legacy Animal Hospital we are committed to caring for your pets in a comfortable, welcoming environment, and we thoroughly enjoy getting to know each and every one of your pets and your families. The current COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to make some changes that limit our contact with you, our clients, with the goal of keeping everyone healthy and limiting the spread of illness. We are back to offering in-person appointments and limiting clients to one person in the exam room. Face masks are now optional for clients.

To better serve you and your pets, based on client feedback we are altering our hours effective Friday 3/17/23:

Mon-Fri 8am-6pm
Hospital closures for staff meetings: 1st Wednesday of every month from 1-2:30pm.

Keeping Your Pet Healthy

Regular visits to the veterinarian at least once a year are essential to your pet’s health and well-being. We utilize advanced diagnostic technology to provide full-service, comprehensive veterinary care for your pet in our conveniently located office.

She Blinded Me with SCIENCE!

We use only the safest, most effective vaccines, medications, and products for your pets. We believe strongly in evidence-based medicine, which means that everything we recommend and carry has the research and experience behind it to ensure it’s safe and effective for your pets. We don’t over-vaccinate, we don’t over-medicate, and we don’t recommend anything that your pet doesn’t need; you can trust us to have your pets’ best interests at heart, and wherever possible to recommend the most cost-effective way of treating your pets. That doesn’t mean we’re the cheapest practice in town – it means we invest in quality and use the lowest effective dosing for treatments. We save you money by giving you the most personalized treatment plan. We prevent you from wasting your money by steering you away from products and foods that are low quality or less effective for your pets. We want you to give your pets the care they need, so we work with you to find the solution that’s best for your family and your budget.

Wellness & Preventative Care

We believe annual wellness care is imperative to keeping your pet happy and healthy! Your pet’s health is important and preventive care is necessary.

Surgery

Surgery

Making sure our patients remain safe during surgery and other medical procedures is extremely important to us. Our veterinary team takes every precaution so that your pet receives the highest-quality care.

Dental Care

When you bring your pet in for an exam, our doctors and techs can work with you to build a home dental care plan that fits you and your pet’s needs.

Diagnostics

With the advances in digital x-ray technology, we can now manipulate the digital images that we take off a pet’s systems to see what is wrong. This has allowed us to detect things like hairline fractures and orthopedic conditions that were previously not visible.

Osteoarthritis Care

If your beloved pet has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis, it’s important to understand that there are treatments available that can provide relief. Proper diagnosis is the key to finding an appropriate treatment plan for your pet.

Pet Health Certificate

Health certificates, sometimes known as travel certificates, are always required for international travel, and many airlines require them for domestic travel.

Additional Services

Our veterinary team offers additional services for your pet that focus on improving their overall quality of life. We provide services ranging from behavioral examinations to dietary consultations to ensure they live a happy and healthy life under your care.

Limited Emergency Services

Our emergency services are limited and only available during regular business hours. If you have an emergency, please give us a call before coming in.
